Q03Which bicycles are compatible with HOOKUniq?
HOOKUniq is designed for road, hybrid, mountain and cargo bicycles with standard tyres. Compatibility depends on your bicycle's wheel size, tyre width and available mounting space. Check compatibility with HOOK before buying. A mountain bike that fits the kit is not automatically suitable for jumps or extreme off-road riding; check your intended use with HOOK.
Q04Do I need a driving licence, RTO registration or insurance for HOOKUniq in India?
HOOKUniq has a 250 W rated motor, assistance that starts after pedalling and gives assisted speed of up to 25 km/h. All of this falls under the classification under Rule 2(u) of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 also requires the relevant classification and test documentation. Follow the rules that apply where you ride.
